Traders of Babylon

Recently I read Monica Gallagher’s mini-comic Go for the Eyes, a small press item we carry here in the store. Of course I like riveting plot, but often what I want from indies is a peak into someone’s mind. And this is just what Go for the Eyes is. A short history of Gallagher’s efforts to feel safe and strong, as though she could protect herself out in this world, Go for the Eyes is naturally rooted in her experience as a woman, but its themes are those of courage and persistence and the desire we all have to make of ourselves what we will.
